June Sophie

June M Sophie, 77, of Bloomington,
IL, went to be with the Lord at 9:50 p.m. on December 15, 2013 at
OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington. A Visitation with the
family from 1:30 p.m to 3:00 p.m and a memorial service following
will be held at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington
on Saturday, December 21, 2013. Pastor Richard Gray will be
officiating. Cremation rites have been accorded and memorials may
be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Online

She was born June 8, 1936 in
Bloomington, Illinois, a daughter to Elmer and Minnie Lierman
Reum.

June is survived by her former
spouse of 21 years, Jake Sophie of Bloomington; two daughters,
Brenda (Craig) Lindstrom of Minneapolis, Minnesota; Janet Sophie of
Tomball, Texas; and two grandchildren, Hunter Lindstrom and Kenzie
Lindstrom. She is also survived by two sisters, Alice Codding of
Bloomington and Vialee Field of Pontiac.

June was preceded in death by her
son, Steven Sophie; her parents, three brothers, and two
sisters.

June graduated from Normal
Community High School and retired from Illinois Agricultural
Association. She was a member of the Red Hats Society, Women of the
Moose, and OSF St. Joseph Medical Center Volunteer Staff. She
enjoyed traveling domestically and abroad (including Australia and
Greece). She also loved dancing and gardening.   June
loved her daughters very dearly, loved her grandchildren and all of
her family. She was a selfless woman that loved on people by giving
of her time. Her daughters think it's extremely crappy that she's
gone and she will be terribly missed...WE LOVE YOU MORE!!
