Stephen E. Hawthorne
Bloomington- Stephen E. Hawthorne, 58, of Bloomington passed
away Saturday, September 22, 2012 at his residence.
He was born July 25, 1954 at Atlantic, IA a son of Robert R. and
Doris D. Downing Hawthorne.
Survivors include his parents, Robert and Doris Hawthorne, Hot
Springs,AR , a sister Monica (Brian) Heatherton, Springfield, one
nephew Adam Heatherton, one niece Amanda Heatherton, and his two
feline friends Black and Jack.
He served in the United States Army 123rd Signal
Battalion where he received the Army Commendation Medal.
He had been employed at Mitsubishi Motor Manufacturing. Stephen
was a lifemaster bridge player.
His family will honor him with a celebration of life service at
a later date.
He was a loving and caring guy and will be missed by not only
his family but his friends in and out of the bridge world.
