Alan E. Mowrer
Normal- Alan E. Mowrer, 60, of Normal passed away on Tuesday,
October 16, 2012 at his residence in Normal at 4:45 pm.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, October 22, 2012 at 11 am
at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington with Pastor
Kurt Flora officiating.

Emtombment will be at East Lawn
Memorial Gardens in Bloomington.  In lieu of flowers, memorial
may be directed to the American Diabetes Association in Alan's
name.

Alan was born on July 24, 1952 in
Bloomington a son to Charles E. and Helen M. (Key) Mowrer.

Surviving is his brother, Lloyd L.
(Dianne) Mowrer of Bloomington, two nephews; one niece, along with
two great nieces and two great nephews. His life-long friend Mike
Helphenstine of Normal also survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Charles
Mowrer; sister-in-law, Kathy and one great niece.

Alan graduated from Normal
Community High School in 1970. He most recently worked as a
mechanic for Barker's GMC in Lexington.

Alan was a railroad enthusiast and
enjoyed going to train shows and was a member of the Twin City
O-Scalers. He will be missed by his railroad club friends.
