Alice Baumann
Benson - Alice M. Baumann, 87, of Metamora, IL, formerly of Benson, IL, passed away at 10:23 am on Thursday December 28, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born on December 12, 1930 in Minonk, IL to Gustav and Anna Rients Timmerman. She married Everett M. Baumann on August 4, 1950 in Benson, IL. He passed away on April 20, 2003.
Surviving are her four sons, Steven (Angela Hooker) Baumann of East Peoria; Stuart (Monica) Baumann of Lawrenceville, GA; Stanley (Bobbie) Baumann of Willisburg, KY; Todd Baumann of Washburn; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Gustuav Timmerman Jr; Raymond Timmerman; Elmer Timmerman; and two sisters, Anna Carls and Elsie Kalkwarf.
Alice was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in rural Benson where she had been active in the Ladies Aid for many years.
Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and a memorial service will be held on Thursday January 4th at 11:00 am at St. Peter Lutheran Church. Pastor David Abuya will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be held in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church.
