Allen R. Brunson, Jr.

Allen R. Brunson, Jr., 38, of East Peoria, Il passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford.

He was born on September 4, 1984 in Moline, Il a son of Allen R. and Joan Lenore Gott Brunson, Sr.

Survivors include his mother, Joan Brunson of East Moline, IL; aunt and uncle who raised him, Colleen (Mike) Bailey of East Peoria; brother, Brian Brunson of East Peoria; maternal grandmother, Alice Ybarra of East Moline, IL; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Allen was a US Navy Veteran serving on the USS Decatur. He worked as a laser operator at CNH Case New Holland in Goodfield.

He was a member of American Welding Society and a former member of New Attitudes Motorcycle Group. He was also an active member of AA. He loved to go motorcycle riding, fishing and trapping.

Allen was an organ donor and thru his kind donations has helped to save lives.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 1-4pm at the Carpenter’s Local Union Hall #237 in East Peoria address is 2412 North Main Street East Peoria, IL 61611. Cremation will be accorded. Knapp-Johnson-Harris Funeral Home in Roanoke is handling arrangements for the family.
