Delbert Bishop

Delbert Bishop, 83, of Roanoke, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021, at The Loft Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Eureka.

He was born on February 23, 1938, in Cuba, IL to Jesse and Lena Kohlenberger Bishop.

He married Christine Lauth Waldschmidt on February 14, 1981, in Astoria, IL.  She passed away on February 16, 2021.

Surviving are two daughters, Nancy Wust Bishop and Betty LaClair; one son, Terry Bishop; 3 stepsons, David, Donald, and Douglas Waldschmidt; 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parent and two sons, Kenny, and Ronnie Bishop.

Per his wishes cremation rites will be accorded and a celebration of his life and burial of cremains by the family will be held at a later date.
