Bloomington-
Dorothy Mae Cartwright, 86 of Bloomington passed away on Friday,
November 16, 2012 at 12:09 am at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in
Bloomington.

Memorial services will be held on
Friday, November 23, 2012 at 2 pm at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's
Witnesses, 1213 East Emerson in Bloomington. Visitation will be
held from 1-2 pm on Friday prior to the services.
Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the
family with arrangements.

Dorothy was born on February 1,
1926 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, a daughter of Ray and Matilda
(Fristoe) Skillman. She married Nolvin Cartwright and resided in
Columbia, MO. Nolvin preceded her in death.

She is survivied by three
daughters, Sandra (Al) Wilson of Norcross, GA, Bonnie (Ron)
Pettigrew of Bloomington, and Sherrie Cartwright of Bloomington;
grandchildren, Tony Pettigrew, Mika Pettigrew, Nicole Lopez,
Brandon Lopez, Nicholas Wilson, Julien Wilson, all of Atlanta, GA,
Shelly (Seth) Hamalian of Lafayette, CA and Suzanne (Loki) Freyr of
Livingston, TX; great-grandkids, Justin Anthony Dean Hurt of
Bloomington, Jael Simone Pettigrew and Micah Lewis of Atlanta,
GA. Samuel Thaddeus Hamalian of Lafayette, CA, Saga Joy
Freyr, Rig Thaddeus Freyr, Skadi Mevryan Freyr, Doc Jones Freyr,
Indiana Ron Carlo Freyr of Livingston, Texas. She is also survived
by four siblings, Jean Jackson of Omaha, NE, Katherine Battles of
Houston, TX, Henry Hobson & Elizabeth Hobson of Fayetteville,
GA.

In addition to her husband Nolvin,
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Thaddeus
Swanegan, Jr. and three brothers.

Dorothy was a member of the Kingdom
Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Bloomington.
