Dorothy Morger

February 12, 1925 — April 21, 2013

Heyworth- Dorothy M. Morger,
88, of Heyworth, IL passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at 1:38
A.M. in Heyworth at her home. Funeral services will be at 1 P.M. on
Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor
Thomas Wirsing officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to
the services at the church. Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial
Gardens in Bloomington.. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran
Church or the YMCA. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in
Bloomington is handling arrangements.


Dorothy was born on February 12,
1925 in Mt. Olive, IL to John Fritzsche and Tillie Hahn Fritzsche.
She married Ralph E. Morger on December 06, 1952 in Kingsland,
Georgia.



Surviving is her son Mike (Lori)
Morger of Heyworth; two grand-daughters Stacy Morger of Heyworth
and Brooke Morger of Heyworth. She is also survived by her
great-grandson Cashten Morger also of Heyworth, IL.



Dorothy was preceded in death by
her parents, her loving husband, Ralph, in 2003, Brody Morger in
2012, two sisters Ruby and Gladys, and her brother Eldred.



She attended Immanuel Lutheran
Grade School, and Mt. Olive Community High School, graduating in
1942. Dorothy moved to Bloomington, IL where she attended ISNU for
two years and began work at State Farm Insurance Companies where
she retired in 1987 with 44 years experience. After retirement
Dorothy worked as a tour guide at State Farm for six years. She was
a longtime member of the YMCA and volunteered whenever possible at
Trinity Lutheran Church. Dorothy's dedication to service and love
for her family will be sorely missed.
