Spring Valley
Hospital in Spring
Valley.



He was born on January 14, 1950 in Chicago, IL the son
of Edward
John and Joyce Johnson Alonso.  He married Michele Denys on
February 7, 1970 in
Chicago, IL.  She
survives.


Also surviving are his mother Joyce and step-father
James of Lacon,
IL; one daughter, Vickie (Brian) Bijak of Homewood, IL; three
sons, Edward (Amy)
Alonso of Schererville, IN; Jeffery Alonso of Varna, IL; David
(Sarah) Alonso of
Lansing, IL; and eight grandchildren, Eddie, Aidan, Ryan, Gavin,
and Jade Alonso
and Sabrena, Fernando, and Madison Bijak; Brother Daniel Alonso of
Magnolia and
Sister Kathie (Jeno) Varadi of Princeton. He also leaves behind
several nieces
and nephews.


Edward had worked at Interlake Steel and Cyclone Fence
in Chicago,
IL. He was also a Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam
War.


He was a member of the Chillicothe Sportsman's Club
and the Walter
Guede American Legion Post 593.


Cremation rites will be accorded and a memorial
service will be
held at a later date.
