Frances Herbst Schertz (12/3/1913 - 12/21/2014)) and Glenwood Louis Schertz (9/11/1911 - 7/7/2009) will be interred on Saturday, June 27 at an 11 am graveside at Roanoke Township Cemetery.
Frances grew up in Roanoke and Glenwood in Metamora. After their marriage in 1943, they moved to Wilmington, DE where they raised two daughters (Ann Elizabeth Finger and Jean Schertz Stock).
Glen worked as a research chemist for Hercules for over 30 years. After Glen's retirement, they moved to Rochester, NY and frequently visited Largo, FL in order to enjoy time with their daughters, sons-in-law, and grandchildren. They are survived by their 2 daughters, 4 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
