Harold E. Losher



Eureka- Harold E. Losher, 80, of Metamora, IL formerly of
Eureka, IL passed away at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, September 12, 2012
at Snyder Village in Metamora, IL. He was born on July 1, 1932 in
Washburn, IL a son of Albert and Ida Wehrli Losher. He married
Doris Kenyon on January 5, 1952 in Lowpoint, IL.



Surviving are one daughter, Debbie (Ron) Evanson of Monona, IA;
four sons, Byron Losher of Toluca, IL; David (Deb) Losher of
Huntley, IL; Mike Losher of Deer Creek, IL; Jon Losher of Monona,
IA; five grandsons, Billy (Samantha) Losher; Blake (Brandy)
Evanson; Jim Benson; Doug Losher; Derek (Casey) Evanson; seven
great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ruth (Jack) Fandel of
Washington, IL; Esther Belsly of Metamora, IL; Irma Jean Bratt of
Washburn, IL; and one brother, Dale Losher of Eureka, IL.



He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Duane "Kip"
Losher and one daughter-in-law, Janet Hodel Losher.



Harold farmed in the Lacon area. He worked at Wabco in Peoria.
He was a Washburn police officer and a security officer at the
Woodford County Courthouse.



He was a member of the New Castle Bible Church in Mackinaw. He
loved to sing and performed at various functions. He also enjoyed
doing wood carving.



A Memorial Service will be held on October 14, 2012 at
the Eureka Nazarene Church at 1:30 pm. A celebration with
family will be held at 2:30 pm at the church. Cremation rites will
be accorded. Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka is
handling the arrangements for the family.
