Harold Miller,

June 11, 1921 — March 18, 2014

Normal - Harold L. Miller, Sr., 92,
of Normal, passed away at 9:35 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at
Bloomington Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in
Bloomington.

His funeral will be at 10 a.m. on
Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in
Bloomington with Rev. Richard Gray officiating.  There will be
no visitation.

Interment will be at Park Hill
Cemetery in Bloomington. Memorials may be made to the foundation of
the donors choice.

Harold was born on June 11, 1921 in
Normal, a son of John W. And Signe V. (Alsene) Miller.  He
married Bernice Harlow on April 24, 1948 at First Methodist Church
in Normal.  She survives.

In addition to his wife, Bernice,
surviving are two daughters, Cynthia Kay (Steve) Silvey of Normal,
Carole L. Miller of California; three grandchildren, Steven Silvey
Jr., Michelle Silvey, Melissa Schrock (Kurtis Seck); five great
grandchildren, Andrew Schrock, MaKayla Schrock, Bradley Heslinga,
Clare Heslinga, Amelia Seck;  two brothers, John Miller of
Normal, Ronald (Becky) Miller of Houston, TX; a sister, Laura Mae
Kant of Bloomington; a sister in law, Gloria Ryburn of Bloomington
and a host of nieces and nephews.

Harold was preceded in death by his
parents, a son, Harold Miller, Jr, two sisters,  Marie Miller
Meadows and Helen Fritzen, and a brother, Warren Miller.

He graduated from Normal Community
High School in 1939.  His subsequent education; American
Technical Society (Electric)  in Chicago; LaSalle Extension
University (Accounting) in Chicago and National Tax Training School
(Tax Specialist)  in Monsey, NY.

Harold was employed at The
Pantagraph for 33 years.  He was also employed  by State
Farm Mutual Auto Insurance Co.; Eureka Williams Corp., Russell S.
Proctor, Inc. Insurance and Finance.  He retired from
Evergreen Racquet Club in 1997 at the age of 76.

He served on the McLean County
Tuberculosis Care and Treatment Board; a past Chairman of
Evangelism from Bloomington-Normal Council of Churches; was an
Organizer for the Billy Graham Chicago Crusade.

Harold was a Baptist, a faithful
servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, and he is now with Him.
