Howard J. "Pete" Pritchard

Lacon-Howard J. "Pete" Pritchard, 93, of Lacon, passed away at
8:40 p.m. on Sunday October 21, 2012 at Heritage Manor in
Chillicothe.  He was born on October 14, 1919 in Edelstien to
the late Joseph and Leah (Estel) Pritchard.  He married Betty
J. Peters on January 22, 1966 in Peoria; she preceded him in death
on April 1, 2004.

He is survived by his daughter, Nancy (Loren) Hoffman, of
Chillicothe; his grandchildren, Don (Sue) Hoffman, of Chillicothe,
and Loren (Traci) Hoffman, of Jamestown, IN; and five
great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.

Pete worked construction and was a member of the IUOE Local #
649.  He was also a member of the Marshall-Putnam Antique
Tractor Association.  Pete was a loving husband, father,
grandfather, and friend and will be dearly missed.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday October 25, 2012 at
Lenz Memorial Home in Lacon, with a visitation one hour
prior.  The Reverend Casey Taylor will officiate.  Burial
will follow in the Lawn Ridge Cemetery.  Memorials may be made
