Howard D. Springer

Washington- Howard D. Springer, 77, of Washington, IL
passed away at 8:34p.m. on Monday, September 10, 2012 at Methodist
Medical Center in Peoria.



He was born on October 31, 1934 in Washington, IL a son of
Wilfrid and Verna Steider Springer. He married Shirley L. Bradle on
May 27, 1957 in Eureka, IL. She passed away on January 7, 2012.



Survivors include two sons, Ronald Springer of Peoria, IL;
Brian(Michelle) Springer of Metamora, IL; two grandchildren, Ashley
and Nicholas Springer.



He was preceded in death by his parents.



Howard worked at Wabco for 41 years retiring in 1997.



He was a member of Calvary Evangelical Mennonite Church in
Washington.



Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday,
September 15, 2012 at Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka.
Rev. David Dillon will officiate. Vistiation will be held one hour
prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be
in Olio Township Cemetery in Eureka.
