JoAnn Parrott

Lacon-JoAnn Parrott, 60, of Lacon passed away on Wednesday
January 30, 2013 at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton. She was
born on September 30, 1952 in Spring Valley to the late Walter G.
And Opal I. (Wabel) Bogner.

She is survived by one son, James (Jessie) Parrott, of Lacon;
one granddaughter, Riley I. Parrott, one sister, Donna L. Bogner,
of Sparland; and two brothers, Steve W. (Becky) Bogner and Sam L.
Bogner, both of Sparland.

JoAnn graduated from Graham Hospital Nursing School in Canton in
1975.  She spent 21 years as a nurse at Heartland Health Care
in Henry and loved every minute of it.  She also loved being a
grandmother, Riley was the pride and joy of her life.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday February 4, 2013 at
Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lacon, burial will follow
at Calvary Cemetery in Henry.  Father Tom Mizeur will
officiate.  Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., with
prayers at 5:00, on Sunday February 3, 2013 at Lenz Memorial Home
in Lacon.  Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen
