Lorraine F. DeGiovanni, 86, of Roanoke, passed away at 8:50 a.m., Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at The Roanoke Apostolic Christian Home.
She was born July 27, 1929 in Dyersville, IA to Herman and Sara Kramer Kruse. She married Lloyd DeGiovanni in June 18, 1949 in Farley, IA. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Debra Flynn of Roanoke, Patricia Robison of Eureka; eight grandchildren, Chris (Caryn) Bonner, Jennifer (Lara) Bonner, Michael (Sara) Bonner, Robbie Robison, Angel Cole, Richard Robison, Stephen (Jacklyn) Farrens, Cory (Amatha) Farrens. And six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Cheryl Farrens; one son, Timothy DeGiovanni; two brothers and three sisters.
Lorraine loved and enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She touched the lives of many and will forever be missed.
Lorraine was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Roanoke where a funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 25, 2016. Father Eugene Radosevich will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to mass at the Church. Burial will be in Roanoke Township Cemetery. Knapp-Johnson-Harris Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
