Mabel Wittmer

Eureka- Mabel Rose Wittmer, 89, of Eureka, IL passed away
at 12:10 pm on Friday December 28, 2012 at the Apostolic Christian
Home of Eureka.



She was born on March 27, 1923 in Remington, IN a daughter to
Isaac and Marie Sutter Stoller. She married Carlton J. Wittmer on
April 16, 1949 in Peoria, IL. He passed away on March 23, 2004.



Survivors also include two daughter, Linda (Richard) Hillman of
Eureka; Phyllis (Curt) Bechtel of Greendale, WI; two sons, Robert
(Rita) Wittmer of Danvers, IL; John Wittmer of Eureka; one sister,
Vera Kibler of Peoria; eight grandchildren, Brent Hillman; Chad
(Janel) Hillman; Stephanie Wittmer; Eric Wittmer; Michael Wittmer;
Christopher Bechtel; Shelby Wittmer; Dylan Wittmer; and three great
grandchildren, Tyler, Jolin, and Kaylee Hillman.



She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and one
granddaughter.



She owned and operated Mabel's Beauty Shop in Eureka for many
years.



Mabel enjoyed taking walks and working with her flowers in the
garden. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be
greatly missed by all who knew her.



Mabel was a member of the Eureka Apostolic Christian Church
where funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday December
31. Church ministers will officiate. Visitation will be held from
1-4 pm on Sunday December 30, 2012 at Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral
Home in Eureka and from 9-9:45 am on Monday at the Church. Burial
will be at Olio Township Cemetery, Eureka.
