Marilyn Studer

Roanoke-Marilyn Jean Studer, 76, of Roanoke, IL passed away at 5:35p.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Heartland Health Care Center in Peoria.

She was born on May 29, 1939 in Delavan, IL a daughter of Ammon and Verena Martin Litwiller. She married Duane E. Studer on December 4, 1976 in Hopedale, IL. He survives.

Survivors also include one brother, Dale (Rosina) Litwiller of Hopedale, IL; one sister, Maxine(Warren) Kauffmann of Normal, IL; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Marilyn worked for GTE in Bloomington as a secretary for 17 years retiring in 1976.

She was a member of Living Faith Fellowship Church in Eureka.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 11:00a.m. at the Snyder Village Center in Metamora. Pastor Brett Woerner will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at Snyder Village Center in Metamora. Burial will be in Roanoke Mennonite Cemetery. Knapp-Johnson-Harris Funeral Home in Roanoke is handling arrangements for the family.
