Marjorie E. Durre

Minonk-Marjorie E. Durre, 92, of Minonk, IL passed away at 11:00
am on Monday, December 3, 2012 at Heritage Manor in Minonk, IL.

She was born on February 29, 1920 in Alma Center, WI a daughter
of Arthur and Esther Swendsen Zivney. She married Herman F. Durre
on February 1, 1949 in Minonk, IL. He passed away on March 25,
2002.

Surviving are two sons, Marc L. Durre, John N. (Bonnie) Durre
both of Minonk, IL; one brother, Raymond Zivney of Sun City, AZ;
three grandchildren, Wendy (Dan) Jarvis, Jason (Krystal) Durre, Joe
Durre, three great-grandchildren, John Jarvis, Matthew Jarvis, and
Isaiah Jarvis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one
brother, Shirley, and a daughter-in-law Frannie.

Majorie was a 1938 graduate of Minonk Community High School and
a graduate of Mid-State Business College. She worked as a
bookkeeper for Minonk Dairy Products and later for Durre Bros.
Welding and Machine Shop, Inc.

She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Minonk where
funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 6,
2012. Pastor Ray Barclay will officiate. Visitation will be held
one hour before the service at the church. Burial will be in Minonk
Township Cemetery. Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Minonk is
assisting the family with arrangements.
