Congerville - Marjorie Leah Farney Knapp, 88, passed away at 7:20 am on Sunday September 9, 2018, at the Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka.
She was born on January 25, 1930 in Rankin, IL to William and Lizzie Neukomm Farney. She married Frederick Knapp on October 22, 1950. He Survives.
Also surviving is one son, Rick (Kathy) Knapp; six daughters, LuAnn (Clarence) Zobrist; Peggy (Randy) Selvey; Lori (Larry) Wiegand; Karen (Dennis) Leman; Lisa (Clark) Leman; Susan (Mike) Zobrist; two sisters, Clara Bodagar; Lucille Baker; 35 grandchildren; and 106 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one great granddaughter; two brothers; and eight sisters.
A child of our Redeemer, Marjorie was a member of the Congerville Apostolic Christian Church.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday September 12 at the Congerville Apostolic Christian Church. Church ministers will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4-8pm on Tuesday September 11th at the Goodfield Apostolic Christian Fellowship Hall in Goodfield, IL. and from 9-9:45 am on Wednesday prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in the Goodfield-Congerville Apostolic Christian Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be directed to the Apostolic Christian Home of Roanoke or the Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka. Online condolences may be sent to the family at knappjohnsonharris.com.
