Marjorie Ludeman
Benson- Marjorie L. Ludeman, 89, of Benson, IL, passed away at
1:10 am on Wednesday December 26, 2012 at the Apostolic Christian
Home of Roanoke where she was a resident.
She was born on August 23, 1923 in Roanoke, IL to Robert and
Clara Schlabach Tielkemeier. She married Glen Ludeman on August 23,
1946 in Benson, IL. He passed away on September 14, 1986.
Surviving is one son, Robert (Kathy) Ludeman; one daughter,
Gloria (Roger) Weber both of Benson; one son-in-law, Perry Lubbers
of Milwaukee, WI; two sisters, Shirley (Wayne) Stoltz of Roanoke;
Vera Mae Murray of Streator; seven grandchildren and eleven great
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter Sandra
Lubbers.
Marjorie was the head dietitian at the Roanoke Nursing Home for
many years. She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in
Benson where she had been active in the Mission Aid. She was also a
member of the Benson American Legion Auxiliary.
Family came first for Marjorie. She especially enjoyed the time
she could share with her grandchildren. She was a loving wife,
mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held on Friday December 28, 2012 at
10:30 am at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Benson. The Rev. Nathan
Feig will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the
service at the church. Burial will be in Clayton Township Cemetery
in Benson.
Knapp-Johnson-Harris Funeral Home in Roanoke will be in charge
of the arrangements.
