Roanoke - Marlene C. Robertson, 55, of Roanoke, passed away at 3:49 pm on Saturday July 14, 2018 at her residence.
She was born on December 25, 1962 in Peoria, IL to Frank and Charlotte Vogel Papatyi. She married Tim Robertson on May 21, 1983 in Roanoke, IL. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Seth, (Kassie)Robertson of Roanoke; Brice (Casie) Robertson of Onsted, MI; two daughters, Abby Robertson of Washington, IL; Sadie Robertson of Springfield, IL; two grandchildren, Chase and Clare Robertson; her father, Frank Papatyi of Bloomington; one sister, Melodie (Jim) Evans of Broken Arrow, OK; and two brothers, Anthony (Anne) Papatyi of Omaha, NE; and Joshua (Meghan) Papatyi of Hudson, IL.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Charlotte.
Marlene was a nurse practitioner working for OSF at the Fort Jesse Clinic in Normal. Always serving others with a smile, she had a passion and zeal for her job, patients, and co-workers.
She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and loved being with her grandchildren.
Marlene was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Roanoke where funeral services will be held at 10 am on Friday July 20th. Fr. Eugene Radosevich will officiate. Visitation will be held on Thursday July 19th from 5-8 pm at Knapp-Johnson-Harris Funeral Home in Roanoke where a rosary service will be held at the conclusion of visitation. Additional visitation will be held from 9-9:45 on Friday prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in the Roanoke Township Cemetery.
