Roanoke - Martha Lyons, 74, of Roanoke, passed away at 3:23 pm on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at her residence.

She was born on October 31, 1944 in Washington, IL to Virgil and Irene Holt Wilkey. She married Steven Lyons on March 22, 1962.

Surviving are two sons, Mark (Joleen) Lyons of Newton, KS; Ronald Lyons of Tennessee; one grandson, Jamie (Charity) Lyons; one granddaughter, Rachel Lyons; three brothers, Art Wilkey; George (Ella B) Wilkey; Charles (Rose) Wilkey; two sisters, Wanda Wilkey; Pam Wilkey; and three great grandchildren.

She was preceeded in death by her parents, one son, Jeremy Lyons; three brothers and five sister.

Martha worked as a bookkeeper for Frost Electric in Aurora for 19 years before she retired and moved back to the Roanoke area.

She was a member of Liberty Bible Church in Eureka where funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday February 9, 2019. Tom Zobrist will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10-11 am prior to the services at the church. Burial will be held with a 1pm grave side service at Lincoln Memorial Park in Aurora, IL on Monday February 11, 2019. Knapp-Johnson-Harris Funeral Home in Roanoke is assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Bible Church. Online condolences may be sent to the family at knappjohnsonharris.com.
