El Paso- Mary Ella Dressler, 86 of El
Paso passed away at 12:22 a.m.
on Friday, August 9, 2013 at Heritage Health Care, El Paso.
Mary Ella was born July 2, 1927 at Carlock, IL a daughter of
Arthur P.
and Ella Ummel Kinzinger. She married Edson Dressler on June
23,
1951 at Bloomington. He passed away on November 23, 1989.
Survivors include her two sons, Gary
(Marie) Dressler and Steve
(Janet) Dressler both of El Paso,IL; two granddaughters,
Kimberly
(Jake) Viravec Mokena, IL and Brianne (Nick) Schramm,
Springfield,
IL; two great grandchildren, Zachary and Brooklyn Viravec; one
sister
in law,Pearl Kinzinger and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Harry, Ralph and
Walt
Kinzinger and three sisters, Mildred Waller, Ruth Orns and
Esther
Snook.
Mary Ella attended Grace Fellowship Church, El Paso and was
a
member of the Home Extension and Fourth Friday Ladies Club.
She
enjoyed knitting, crocheting, pinochle and reading. She truly
enjoyed spending
time with her family and many friends and will always be
remembered
for her Christmas Donuts. She had been employed at State
Farm
Insurance Company after high school until the birth of her first
son.
She then became a wonderful full time mom and homemaker. She will
be truly missed by her family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 12, 2013
at
Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, El Paso. Rev. Wes Ooms will
officiate.
Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, El Paso. Visitation will
be on
Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Ruestman-Harris Funeral
Home,
El Paso.
