Mary Micheletti

Roanoke- Mary Lou Micheletti, 89, of Roanoke, IL passed away at 8:14a.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka.
She was born on February 6, 1928 in Peoria, IL a daughter of Walter and Louise Osborne Smith. She married Gene Micheletti on May 11, 1946 in Peoria, IL. He passed away on December 19, 2001.
Survivors include two sons, Terry(Pam) Micheletti of Danvers; Steve Micheletti of Morton; four grandchildren, Eric(Kim) Micheletti of Bloomington; Heidi(Tom) Felstead of Shirley; Erin(Neal) Douglas of Danvers; Matthew Micheletti of Boulder, CO; eight great-grandchildren, Reece, Tommy, Lexy, Nick, Cole, Andrew, Irelynn, Natalie.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mary Lou was raised in Lacon until age 8 then moved with her parents to Roanoke where she lived until Gene's passing. Gene and Mary Lou loved spending their winters in Florida after his retirement.
She was a loving homemaker for many years. She was a loving mother and grandmother and thoroughly enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mary Lou was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Roanoke.
Private family services will be held at Knapp-Johnson-Harris Funeral Home in Roanoke. Rev. Bruce Scarbeary will officiate. Burial will be in Roanoke Township Cemetery.
