Michael Francis Wenzel



El Paso- Michael Francis Wenzel, 46, of El Paso, IL passed away
at his residence at 7:19 am on Wednesday, October 3, 2012.



He was born on October 2, 1966 in Fort Rucker, AL a son of Paul
and Irma Magg Wenzel. He married Deanne Schneider on February 2,
2007 in Frederick, MD. She survives.



Also surviving are his son, Connor Wenzel, his parents, Paul and
Irma Wenzel of Springfield, VA; three step-children, Kenneth,
Clayton, and Marie Abel; one sister, Carmen (Ed) Frances of
Annapolis, MD; two nieces, Alexa and Ashley; his mother-in-law
Nancy Abbott of El Paso, IL; and four step-grandchildren.



He was preceded in death by one brother, PJ Wenzel.



Michael was a former United States Marine and a member of the
VFW in Lovettsville, VA. He worked in the construction business. He
enjoyed fishing and caring for his fish in his home aquarium. He
loved playing X Box and spending time with his family.



A memorial service will be held at the Good Shepherd Community
Church in El Paso on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at 5:00 pm. A
visitation will be held from 4-5 pm before the service. Cremation
rites will be accorded. Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso is
assisting the family with arrangements.
