Pearl Mae Leman, 91, of Roanoke, died at 8:32 a.m., Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the Apostolic Christian Home of Roanoke.
She was born May 6, 1927 in Cruger Township, Woodford County, to Samuel and Dena (Wuethrich) Blunier. She married Donald A. Leman on June 16, 1946 in Eureka. He died February 17, 2003.
Surviving are five children, Barbara (James) Ely of Bloomington, Russell Leman of Roanoke, Alice (Gary) Mical of Grayslake, IL, Donald R. (Colleen) Leman of Roanoke, and Delores Leman of Lee's Summit, MO; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one brother Ben Blunier of Eureka, and a special family friend, Sheila Schertz of Lee's Summit, MO.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter Sandra Kae, daughter-in-law Joan Leman, a granddaughter Lisa Leman Gerber, one great-grandson Micah Gerber, ten brothers and three sisters.
Pearl lived her entire married life in Roanoke which was an important part of her life. She loved gardening and raising her family on the farm. Pearl touched the lives of many people and will forever be missed and loved.
She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church of Roanoke where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 31, 2018. Church ministers will officiate. Visitation will be on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Knapp-Johnson-Harris Funeral Home in Roanoke and from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at the church on Tuesday. Burial will be in the Roanoke Apostolic Christian Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Apostolic Christian Home of Roanoke.
