Quinton L. Winston, 41, of Normal,
passed away at 12:08 p.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at
Advocate BroMenn Regional Medical Center in Normal. Funeral
services will be held on Saturday, October 06, 2012 at 12 noon at
Hour of Deliverance Church in Bloomington with Rev. Homer Calhoun
Sr. officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 06,
2012 from 10 a.m.- 12 p.m. prior to the service at the church. In
lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family in Quinton's
name. The family of Quinton has entrusted Kibler-Brady-Ruestman
Memorial Home in Bloomington with the care of their loved one.
Quinton was born on February 24,
1971 in Chicago, Illinois to the union of Alfred Singleton and
Louella Childs.
He is survived by his four
daughters, Shante Caldwell, Shay Jordan, Shakari Winston all of
Bloomington and Tiffany; two sons, Deoante Jordan and Camani Jordan
both of Bloomington; his grandmother Violet Singleton of
Bloomington; his brothers Paul Childs and Cassidy Winston; and a
host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his
parents, his bother, Johnny Childs, and sister, Saken Winston.
He was a member of Hour of
Deliverance Church and coach of the Black Knights Football
Team.
