Rex Darien Lacock



Chillicothe- Rex Darien Lacock, 58, of Chillicothe, IL passed away
at 7:45 am on Monday, October 21, 2013 at OSF St. Francis Medical
Center in Peoria,
IL.


He was born on March 25, 1955 in Pekin, IL the son of the late
Robert and Musetta Clary Lacock.  He married Kim Randall on
March 20, 1982 in Lacon, IL.  She
survives.


Also surviving are two daughters, Robin Boyer of Pekin, IL; Kari
(Joe) Dill of Bellevue, IL; one son, Darien (Ashley) Lacock of
Bellevue, IL; his mother, Musetta Lacock of Kingston Mines, IL; two
brothers, Robert (Michelle) Lacock of Yorkville, IL; James
(Shirley) Lacock of East Peoria, IL; one sister, Sharon (the late
Keith) Stolp of Vinton, IA; and six grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his father Robert, and one sister,
Regina Faulkenberry.




Rex had worked as a maintenance supervisor with Caterpillar,
Inc. for 32 years until his retirement in 2005.  He did
machine repair for McBride and Scoff for the last 7 years.  He
was a born mechanic with a passion for working on cars.  He
repaired vehicles for most of his family and friends.


Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25, 2013 from 5-7 pm at
the Lenz Memorial Home.  Cremation rites will be
accorded.  There will be no funeral services.  In lieu of
flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the
donor's choice.  Online condolences may be sent to the family
