Richard Epley

Richard H. Epley of Spring Valley died at St. Margaret's
Hospital at 1:50 am on May 4, 2014. He was born in Elmore, IL on
December 17, 1927 to the late Clarence and Iris Riggen Epley. He
married Harriet Robinson on April 7, 1956 in Magnolia,
IL.


Richard is survived by his wife Harriet; daughter Melody Epley
Swanson of Spring Valley; and sister Isabell Anderson of Lacon. He
was preceded by three sisters: Evelyn Martin, Nora Martin and Mary
Lou Lanning; and three brothers: James, John and Clarence
Epley.



Richard retired from the Marshall County Highway Department with
over 22 years of service. He was also a 32 degree Mason.



Services will be held on Thursday, May 8, at 10:00 am at Lenz
Memorial home in Lacon with a visitation on Wednesday from 5-7pm.
Masonic services will be held at 7pm, the Reverend Burl Cole
officiating. Burial will be at Salem Lutheran #2 Varna, IL.
