Robert L. Johnson



Hudson- Robert L. Johnson of Hudson, Illinois and formerly of
Tracy, California passed away at 3:30 AM on Sunday, November 11,
2012 at the Illinois Veterans Home in Danville, Illinois.



Mr. Johnson was born on April 27, 1943 a son of the late Orville
Robert and Mary Etta (Hackney) Johnson and had attained the age of
69. He married Cheryl Andrews-Rideout in April of 1997 in Tracy,
California and she survives.



Bob enlisted in the United States Navy and was very proud of the
time spent during his tenure in the military. He later worked as a
maintenance supervisor for Safeway for many years until his
retirement. Mr. Johnson enjoyed helping with projects at the Hudson
Christian Church where he was also a member and former deacon of
the church.



In addition to his wife, Cheryl, he is survived by his children,
Kelly, Marc, Cristina, Robert, Paul and Anthony, step-sons, Daniel
and Dale Rideout, 2 grandchildren, Ashleigh and Kaylee Rideout, a
sister, Jacci S'Brocco of Florida and many nieces, nephews and
friends. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a
brother, Jimmy Johnson.



Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be
announced at a later time. Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso
