Robert L. Taylor



Lacon- Robert L. Taylor, 71, passed away at 5:54 p.m. on
Thursday December 6, 2012 at Kindred Hospital in Peoria. He was
born on September 26, 1941 in Peoria to the late Robert E. And
Leola (Tidmarsh) Taylor. He married Peggy Tuttle on March 20, 1960
at the United Methodist Church in Lacon; she survives.



Also surviving are two sons, Ronald L. (Kathy) Taylor and
Kenneth R. Taylor, both of Lacon; one daughter, Carol (Edward)
Moran, of Varna; three granddaughters, Leah (Justin) Lutz, Megan
(Curtis) Lutz, and Kelly Moran; one great-granddaughter, Kira; one
brother, Jim Taylor, of Lacon; and one nephew, Derek.



He was preceded in death by one infant sister.



Bob attended Mossville Grade School and one year at Woodruff
High School; graduating from Mid-County High School in 1959. He
retired from Caterpillar and farmed in Marshall County. Bob enjoyed
hunting, fishing, and being in the outdoors with his family.



Cremation rites have been accorded and no services will be
held. Memorials may be made to Lacon-Sparland Ambulance Rescue
52.
