Eureka- Robert L. "Bob" Ulrich, 62, of Eureka, passed away on
February 15, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in
Crawfordsville, IN.


He was born on April 28, 1950 in Peoria, IL the son of Clayton J.
"Jim" and Ruth L. Reeb Ulrich.  He married Regina Short on May
15, 2005 in Peoria, IL.  She survives.


Also surviving are his parents Jim and Ruth Ulrich of Eureka; two
daughters, Jennifer (Jeff) Turner of Mackinaw; Kristina (TJ)
Ulrich-Wilson of Eureka; one brother Mike Ulrich of Eureka; one
sister, Peggy (Norm) LaFary of Green Valley; four sons by marriage
Isac, Matthew, Gregory (Saedrea), and Bobby Smith; eight
grandchildren, Katlyn, Gavin, and Mason Forck; Logan and Ceira
Turner; Lucy Smith; and Brynn Wilson and several aunts, uncles,
nieces and nephews.


He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Brystol Ulrich.


Bob graduated from Eureka High School and went to college in
Hesston Kansas.  After attending college, he spent two years
doing mission work in Africa for PAX.


In the past, Bob had worked for Vermeer, he owned Ulrich Tower
Services where he had stacked towers for many years all over
Illinois and many other states before becoming a truck driver,
currently working for Cox Transfer in Eureka.


Visitation and celebration of life will be held on Wednesday night
from 4-7 pm at the Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in
Eureka.  Per his request, cremation rites will be
accorded.


Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart
Association or the Congenital Hyperinsulinism Fund.  Online
