Rosalie Mae Sweeney of
Bloomington went to be with her Heavenly Father at 7:52 p.m.
Tuesday October 29, 2013 at Advocate Bromenn Medical Center in
Normal.
Rosalie was born in
Bloomington on February 27, 1944 the daughter of John and
Gertrude Sweeney.
A celebration of life will be held
at Victory Christian Center (18180 U.S. 150 Bloomington, IL) on
Saturday, November 2nd at 1 p.m. A potluck dinner will follow the
service, please bring a dish and stories to share.
In lieu of flowers, memorial
contributions may be left to the family at First Financial
Bank. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is
assisting the family with arrangements.
She was blessed with three loving
children Trudy Smith, Jodi Smith, and Phillip Smith, they
survive. Also surviving are her beloved grandchildren: Nicole
(Tom) Gourley, Jennifer (Will) Trew, Alishia (Reese) Martin,
Brandon Reynolds, Natalie Reynolds, Morgan Smith, Joshua Smith,
Monique Smith, and Mariah Smith; her great grandchildren whom she
adored: Hannah and Isaac Smith, Grace, Lily, and Liam Trew; three
sisters: Phyllis Prochnow, Shirley Fowler, and Gloria (Richard)
Hoeniges; and one brother John (Debbie) Sweeney; as well as
numerous nieces and nephews
Proceeding her in death were her
parents; sisters: Rosemary Sweeney and Ramona Swearingen; brothers:
Bill Sweeney, Maurice Sweeney, E.J. Sweeney; nephew: David
Prochnow.
