Rose Nenigar

ROANOKE- Rose M. Nenigar, 73, of Roanoke, passed away at 5:30 A.M. on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.

She was born on October 22, 1941, in Granite City, IL; a daughter of the late Raymond and Margareta Uphoff Schroeder. She married Richard E. Nenigar on January 16th, 1965 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Secor. He preceded her in death in 1992.

Surviving are two daughters, Theresa (Donald) Rients, Benson, Tara (Seth) Tomlinson, Roanoke; 8 grandchildren, Tjark, Shellie, Amy, John, Rosemary, Anna, Braden, and Jordyn; sister, Donna (Everett) Stine, Texas; and three brothers, Raymond ( Celia) Schroeder, Secor, Melvin (Linda) Schroeder, Roanoke, and John Schroeder, Secor.

She was preceded in death by one brother and one nephew.

Rose was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Secor where funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 11 A.M. Visitation will be 2 hours prior from 9-11 A.M. at the church and burial will be in Secor cemetery. Knapp-Johnson-Harris Funeral Home in Roanoke is assisting the family with their arrangements.
