Ruth Ann Brewer

Sparland-Ruth Ann Brewer, 62, of Hopewell, passed away at 2:06
a.m. on Sunday September 16, 2012 at Kindred Hospital in
Peoria.  She was born on March 18, 1950 in Peoria to the late
Robert E. And Lois C. (Vaubel) Boettger.  She married William
A. Brewer on March 20, 1976 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Wenona;
he survives.

Also surviving are one son, William E. and his wife, Christy
Brewer, of Chatham, IL; one daughter, Kimberly A. Brewer, and her
fiancé, Joe Kinsella, of Wyoming, IL; one sister, Mary Lou
Boettger, of Peoria; one brother, Thomas V. Boettger, of Peoria,
and grandchildren Brayden and Brevin.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Robert C.
Boettger.

Ruth was a 1971 graduate of the Methodist School of
Nursing.  She worked at ASTA, Galena Park, and as a part-time
as a nurse at Caterpillar, Inc., last working at Heritage
Manor.  She loved tending to her flowers.  Ruth was a
loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be missed by
her family and friends.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday September 19, 2012
at Lenz Memorial Home in Lacon.  Visitation will be from 5:00
to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday September 18, 2012, also at Lenz.
Burial will follow the services at the Henry Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Rescue 33 or to a charity of the donor's
choice.
