Sally J. Holocker

Peoria-Sally J. Holocker, 68, of Peoria, formerly of Lacon,
passed away peacefully at 6:10 a.m. on Tuesday January 29, 2013 at
Methodist Medical Center.  She was born on October 11, 1944 in
Peoria to the late John and Dorothy (Way) Anderson.  She
married Albert B. Holocker, Sr. on August 16, 1970 in Peoria; he
preceded her in death on January 15, 2011.

She is survived by one son, Albert B. (Angela) Holocker, Jr., of
Metamora; one step-daughter, Annette (Michael) Belcher, of
Chillicothe; three grandchildren, Rachel Holocker, and Brionna and
Arionna Belcher; three brothers, Gary (Jill) Anderson, of Lacon,
Don (Charlotte) Anderson, of Dacula, GA, and Carl (Kathy) Anderson,
of Brimfield; and several nieces and nephews.

Sally worked as a waitress at the former Cowell's Colonial Café,
the Club Lacon, Hunt's Drive-In, and Caterpillar, Inc. kitchen.

Sally enjoyed spending time with her family and friends,
especially her spoiled best buddy Lady (the one-eyed dog) and was
an avid Cardinal and NASCAR fan.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday February 1, 2013 at
Lenz Memorial Home in Lacon; Deacon Bob Murphy will
officiate.  Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on
Thursday January 31, 2013, also at Lenz Memorial Home.
