SHIRLEY HOHULIN
Roanoke - Shirley A. Hohulin, 79, of Roanoke, passed away at 3:20 am on Saturday, November 18th at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born on March 26, 1938 in Peoria, IL to Eli and Luella Bright Leman. She married Melvin Hohulin on January 12, 1958 in Roanoke, IL. He survives.
Also surviving are her children, Joe (Lorraine) Hohulin of Bay City, MI; Lynne Martin of Peoria; Doug (Sharolyn) Hohulin of Aurora, CO; Ann (Ken) Stoller of Roanoke; and two granddaughters, Autumn (Jake) Rokey; and Kaylynne (Trent) Pruett.
She was preceded by her parents and one brother, Harley Leman.
Shirley was the office manager and bookkeeper for Dr. Steve Sauder chiropractor in Washington, IL and also had worked for at Prospect Bank in Peoria.
Shirley loved the beauty of the mountains, enjoyed reading, and loved to play the piano.
She was a member of the Roanoke Apostolic Christian Church where funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 10:00 am. Church ministers will officiate. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 24th from 4-7pm at Knapp-Johnson-Harris Funeral home in Roanoke and from 9-9:45 am on Saturday prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Apostolic Christian Home of Roanoke.
