Bloomington-W. Margarett Primm,66
of Bloomington passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at her
residence.

Her funeral service will be held on
Friday, May 16, 2014 at 12:00 pm at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial
Home in Bloomington with Bishop Mark DuBois officiating. Visitation
will be held from 11:00 am on Friday until the time of the service
also at the memorial home. Inurnment will be at a later date at
Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Bloomington.

Margarett was born on February 8,
1948 in Rockford, IL a daughter of Willie and Belton Mae (Hinton)
McCullough. She married McKinley Young in 1966 in Gary, IN. She
later married Theodore Primm, Jr. on December 31, 1971 in Rockford,
IL. He preceded her in death in November of 1995.

Margarett graduated from Roosevelt
High School in Gary, IN  in 1966. She enjoyed time at home for
a while as a stay at home mom and then later worked as a CNA in the
home health care field for many years in Rockford. She moved to
Bloomington in 1995 and then relocated back to Rockford for a while
before returning to Bloomington in 2011.

She was an active member of
Emmanuel Temple Church in Rockford where she and her husband were
ordained into the ministry on 12/6/1981. She shared her love of the
Lord by serving in the church choir, teaching Sunday school and
serving on several boards throughout the years. She was also a
member of the Order of the Eastern Star, with her sister,
Mamie.

Margarett was loved by her friends
and family and her family was a great joy to her.

Left to cherish her memory are her
daughters, Melonie P. Young, and Rebecca (Primm) Brown (James
Brown) both of Bloomington, a son, Elijah E. (Lavelle) Primm of
Rockford, IL; 7 grandchildren; a niece, Jacquie M. Thornton of
Phoenix, AZ; four brothers, Eugene McCullough, Daryl (Marquetta)
McCullough, Bruce (Angie) McCullough and Bryan McCullough, all of
Gary, IN.

She was preceded in death by her
parents, one son, Theodore Primm III, 2 sisters, Mamie Joe Thornton
and Grace McCullough, and a nephew, Troy Thornton.
