Dennis C. Hellweg, 77, of Germantown Hills, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at his nephew’s residence.

He was born on October 7, 1944, in St. Louis, MO to George and Catherine Mueller Hellweg. They precede him in death.

Surviving are his three sisters, Georgia Jenks, of Washington, IL; Elaine Kernce of Pennsylvania; Bonnie Harper of New Jersey; and nieces and nephews, Richard (Renae) Harris; Char Jenks; Lawrence Jenks; and Ann Jenks.

Dennis was an engineer for many years mainly working in the automobile industry. He was a black belt in karate and practiced karate for many years. He loved to fish, cook, and loved spending time with his dogs.

Cremation rites will be accorded, the family will hold a celebration of life at a later date. Knapp-Johnson-Harris Funeral Home in Roanoke is assisting the family with arrangements.
