Benson - Morgan L. "Mo" Voyles, 34, of Mooresville, NC, formerly of Benson, IL, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021 in Mooresville, NC.

Morgan was born on September 17, 1986 in Peoria, IL to Larry and Brandi Flatt Voyles.

Morgan is survived by children, Maddox and Lennox of North Carolina; father and step-mother, Larry and Lisa Voyles of Benson; siblings, Jacqueline Coons of Minonk; Nick Syck of Peoria; Greg Voyles of Peoria; Lori Voyles of Peoria; Paul Syck of Maryland; and many nieces and nephews.

Morgan was preceded in death by mother, Brandi Voyles.

Morgan attended Roanoke-Benson High School. Morgan was a second degree blackbelt and had earned a CNA certificate.

Morgan loved animals, all genres of music, enjoyed playing guitar, being outdoors and fishing. Morgan was an awesome cook, and loved all people. Morgan's greatest love was being a parent to three-year old twins, Maddox and Lennox.

Per Morgan's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at 4pm (CST) on Saturday March 6, 2021 at Knapp-Johnson-Harris Funeral Home in Roanoke and will be livestreamed on the Knapp-Johnson-Harris Facebook page. There will be a visitation from 2-4 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Rock Church in East Peoria to the Celebrate Recovery program, as Morgan's dream was to be a counselor in this area. Online condolences and tributes may be sent to the family at
